SECP launches digital financing for women

Islamabad (Lord Media): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has introduced a new digital financing facility named ‘Khudmukhtar Khatoon’ for women’s businesses. Under this product, women can obtain asset financing ranging from 100,000 to 1.5 million Pakistani rupees, which can be used for purchasing machinery, equipment, and business assets.

According to the announcement, the ‘Khudmukhtar Khatoon’ product will be launched by Walee Financial Services and will be fully digital and Shariah-compliant. Women can apply for financing through the mobile app ‘Hakeem’.

The financing amount can be repaid in equal monthly installments over a year. This initiative aims to promote financial inclusion and entrepreneurial autonomy for women.
