Brokering US-Iran peace deal is Pakistan’s highest diplomatic achievement: US media

Islamabad (Lord Media): Pakistan has played a pivotal role in brokering a peace agreement between the United States and Iran, which is being hailed as the country’s greatest diplomatic achievement.

According to Bloomberg, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the US-Iran ceasefire agreement, crediting the leadership for making it possible.

Pakistan held meetings with Iran and organized peace talks in Islamabad, paving the way for peace through diplomacy. The global publication reported that former US President Trump praised Pakistan’s military chief as a favored field marshal, commending the country’s leadership.

Former British MP Stephen Pound called this mediation a significant success on the global stage. Former US Department of Defense official Christopher Cleary stated that Pakistan has become an influential diplomatic and military player in the region, with its leadership preventing a potential third world war.
