Pakistan loses 12th straight in hockey league

Belgium (Lord Media): Pakistan hockey team suffered a 2-4 defeat against Spain in the FIH Pro League, marking their 12th consecutive loss in the event. Spain fielded young players, but Pakistan failed to capitalize on this advantage.

In the opening quarter, both teams were unable to score, while Pakistan’s goalkeeper Ali Raza delivered a stellar performance by saving a penalty stroke.

Pakistan took the lead in the 28th minute with a goal from Abu Bakar Mahmood, but Spain’s Pep Canal quickly equalized. In the third quarter, Spain added two more goals, bringing the score to 1-3.

Abu Bakar Mahmood scored again to reduce Pakistan’s deficit, but Spain secured the win with another goal in the fourth quarter, ending the match at 2-4.

Due to Pakistan’s ongoing defeats, the team needs improvement in defense and finishing. The Pakistani team will now head to England, where their next match is scheduled against India on June 23.
