Tel Aviv (Lord Media): Israel has continued its attacks on Lebanon despite a ceasefire, resulting in over 50 fatalities. In retaliation, Hezbollah targeted Israeli soldiers.
According to international news agencies, the ceasefire announced yesterday did not last even a few hours. The Israeli military launched attacks on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, mostly killing innocent civilians.
The Israeli army claims that Hezbollah fired more than 50 rockets and other projectiles at troops stationed in southern Lebanon overnight, prompting retaliatory strikes on Hezbollah’s military positions.
Hezbollah stated that they fully adhered to the ceasefire since Friday afternoon. However, they attacked when Israeli forces attempted to advance near the Ali Tahir hill in Nabatieh.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has announced the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz in response to Israel’s ceasefire violation in Lebanon, while U.S. forces claim the strait remains open.
Following a memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran, negotiations are set to commence in Switzerland, with the participation of the Pakistani Prime Minister expected.
