Washington (Lord Media): A new Air Force One aircraft, gifted by Qatar to former U.S. President Donald Trump, has been inducted into the U.S. Air Force fleet. The large passenger aircraft features advanced security systems, improved communication networks, and logistical support. The U.S. Air Force claims to have addressed all potential security concerns.
The aircraft’s exterior is adorned with red, white, blue, and gold colors. During the ceremony, Trump described the aircraft as a symbol of modern luxury and expressed gratitude to the Emir of Qatar, calling it an honor.
Gifted by the Qatari royal family in May 2025, the aircraft sparked significant backlash from U.S. political circles. Critics labeled it a conflict of interest, while the White House maintained that the aircraft was legally accepted.
Under U.S. law, government officials can accept gifts up to 480 U.S. dollars; however, it has been announced that the aircraft will be transferred to Trump’s presidential library after his presidency.
The aircraft will temporarily serve the President until the new VC-25B planes, delayed for several years, are completed. An older Boeing 747-200B from the Air Force One fleet is being phased out of service.
