Election Commission issues final notification

Gilgit (Lord Media): The Election Commission of Gilgit-Baltistan has released the final notification for assembly members, announcing 21 general seats, 6 for women, and 3 for technocrats. According to the notification, the Pakistan Peoples Party has emerged as the largest party with 12 seats, followed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz with 9 seats. The Istehkam Pakistan Party has secured third place with 6 seats. The notification for 3 constituencies could not be issued due to the Supreme Court of Gilgit-Baltistan’s orders to withhold results.
