Pakistan denies Taliban’s airstrike claims

Islamabad (Lord Media): Pakistan has firmly rejected the Afghan Taliban’s claims of conducting airstrikes on ISIS hideouts near the Pakistani border. This was stated by Pakistan’s Ministry of Information’s fact-checking wing in a statement on Friday.

The Ministry of Information labeled the Taliban’s claims as baseless propaganda, stating that such statements aim to conceal the patronage of terrorist groups.

According to the ministry, over two dozen terrorist organizations, including ISIS, have bases in areas controlled by the Afghan Taliban, and such statements are issued by them.

The statement added that a preliminary drone entered Pakistani airspace near Khyber, which was promptly detected and neutralized by Pakistan Air Force’s alert air defense system.
