Punjab governor urges PPP to highlight public issues

Lahore (Lord Media): Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan met with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) parliamentarians in Lahore, urging them to highlight public issues in the assembly. Conveying the party leadership’s message, he emphasized the historical sacrifices made by the PPP for democracy and the need to strengthen unity within the ranks.

During the meeting, the governor assured that any injustice against PPP members would not be tolerated and that they have a right to partake in public development projects. He claimed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would become the country’s Prime Minister through public mandate.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan further stated that the poor, salaried class, and pensioners are facing difficulties due to inflation, and therefore, the PPP must play a significant role in advocating for public rights.

He also mentioned that the PPP will form a government in Gilgit-Baltistan and that political activities of the party will increase nationwide following the elections.
