Charsadda (Lord Media): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman criticized the current government’s ability to govern, stating they are not fit to run the country. Speaking at the Shaheed-e-Islam Conference in Charsadda, he remarked that the martyrdom of Maulana Sheikh Idrees is a loss for the entire Muslim community, yet his spirit remains alive. Fazlur Rehman asserted that their resolve will not weaken due to Sheikh Idrees’s martyrdom, and they will never bow to the enemy.
He further stated that when the leadership of the subcontinent was in the hands of religious scholars, peace prevailed. However, removing leadership from scholars led to chaos. He expressed concerns over the devaluation of human life in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, blaming global imperialist forces for inciting terrorism for their interests.
