Islamabad (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit Saudi Arabia within the next 48 hours. During the visit, he is expected to meet with senior Saudi officials to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan and enhance defense cooperation. Sources indicate that significant decisions may be made during these meetings, focusing on investment in Pakistan and Saudi defense agreements.
According to sources, senior officials from both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will participate in these discussions.
It is noteworthy that the Prime Minister’s visit to Switzerland, related to the Iran-U.S. agreement, is currently on hold due to the prevailing regional situation. A Pakistani team, led by the Foreign Secretary, is present in Switzerland, but no new developments are anticipated given the current circumstances.
Sources reveal that Tehran has made it clear that further progress is challenging until a decision is reached with Israel regarding Lebanon. U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has also criticized Israel for undermining the peace agreement.
