Iran-Switzerland talks to finalize agreement

Tehran (Lord Media): Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baqai confirmed that negotiation teams are set to travel to Switzerland to finalize the text of a memorandum of understanding. He emphasized the importance of ending conflicts on all fronts, including Lebanon, which is mentioned three times in the agreement’s first paragraph.

A statement from the Swiss government announced that preliminary talks will begin on Friday in Burgenstock, with participation from Pakistan, Qatar, and other relevant countries.

Iranian Speaker Baqer Qalibaf stated that the Strait of Hormuz will not return to pre-war conditions. He noted that Iran is negotiating with the United States from a position of strength, and Iran’s battlefield victories have laid the groundwork for the current discussions.
