Afridi visits UN, praises Pakistan’s mission

New York (Lord Media): Former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi visited the United Nations headquarters and met with Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad. During the visit, Afridi received a detailed briefing on the UN’s work, its role in promoting international peace and security, and multilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad welcomed Afridi and praised his contributions to cricket, noting that his aggressive batting style captivated cricket fans worldwide. He also commended Afridi’s philanthropic efforts, which positively impact the lives of underprivileged communities.
