Venue for Iran-US pact signing shifted

Geneva (Lord Media): The venue for the historic agreement signing between Iran and the United States has been changed. The ceremony will now take place at the Bürgenstock Resort in Switzerland on June 19 instead of Geneva.

According to Switzerland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Bürgenstock Resort, located near Lucerne, is considered suitable for security reasons. The location was suggested by Pakistani and Qatari mediators, as well as the United States and Iran.

Sources indicate that Pakistan will host this historic peace agreement ceremony, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expected to depart for the event on Thursday. Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Baqer Qalibaf and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance are anticipated to attend.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they have been part of the mediation led by Pakistan and will be represented at the agreement ceremony. Pakistani mediators, parties involved, and regional countries will also participate.
