Islamabad (Lord Media): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has approved a technical supplementary grant of 2.19 billion rupees for the Nadra project. The meeting was chaired by Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.
Additionally, the ECC approved 5 billion rupees for the uninterrupted printing and supply of passport booklets. A total of 2.12 billion rupees has been allocated for the Islamabad Model Jail, National Police Hospital, and Security Dashboard projects.
The meeting also sanctioned a grant exceeding 240 million rupees for the repair of Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) helicopters and approved funds for Nadra to continue the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Delivery project.
Furthermore, the release of 5 billion rupees was authorized for settling dues of Immigration and Passports. Approval was also given to continue the gas supply to Fatima Fertilizer and Agritech to ensure the availability of fertilizers.
It was stated in the meeting that the gas supply will continue until June 30, 2026, to maintain stability in the local urea market.
