Karachi (Lord Media): Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced that a significant number of double-decker and modern electric buses will arrive in Karachi this year. These buses will be introduced in phases on various routes to provide citizens with improved, comfortable, and modern transport facilities.
Sharjeel Inam Memon further stated that the Sindh government is rapidly working on modernizing the public transport system. Following the success of the People’s Bus Service, a large number of EV buses and double-decker buses are being integrated into the transport network.
The senior minister mentioned that the Sindh government’s plans are not limited to transport but are also aimed at shaping Karachi’s future. Electric buses will offer eco-friendly, low-cost, and comfortable travel options.
According to Sharjeel Memon, the addition of more double-decker buses will enhance the city’s beauty and transport culture, marking a significant step towards a modern and developed Karachi.
