Attock (Lord Media): Five terrorists were killed in a shootout with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) near the border area of Attock. According to a spokesperson, the incident occurred during an intelligence-based operation against the Fitna Al-Khawarij terrorists.
Authorities reported that the operation aimed to arrest the terrorists, who opened fire on the CTD team, leading to the deaths of five Fitna Al-Khawarij terrorists in retaliation.
The identification process of the deceased terrorists is underway. Suicide vests, hand grenades, SMG rifles, bullets, and explosive materials were recovered from the terrorists.
Officials stated that investigations into the identities of the terrorists and their potential network are ongoing. Additionally, a search operation is being conducted in the area to track down any accomplices or fleeing elements.
