Kansas City (Lord Media): England’s football team faced a setback ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 when their valuable equipment was stolen.
According to authorities, the incident occurred while the team’s gear was being transferred from a pre-tournament camp in Florida to Kansas City. The U.S. state’s prosecution office reported the total value of the stolen items at approximately 18 thousand U.S. dollars.
A case has been filed against two individuals, Mustafa Salik and Irfan Kamal. Court documents reveal that the stolen items included four pairs of football boots, a football, goalkeeper gloves, training kit, and three signed jerseys, totaling around 32 items.
The English Football Association clarified that the theft will not impact the team’s preparations or their first match against Croatia. Officials stated that most of the stolen gear has since been recovered.
