Islamabad (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Pakistan will host the peace agreement ceremony between the United States and Iran. Addressing the National Assembly, the Prime Minister stated that the US and Iran have declared a permanent end to military operations. Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto, and other political leaders, highlighting the agreement as a triumph of peace and diplomacy.
Shehbaz Sharif revealed that the formal signing of the agreement will take place on June 19 in Switzerland. He congratulated US President Donald Trump, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, and all involved in the process.
The Prime Minister also thanked the leadership of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye, and praised the efforts of China’s President Xi Jinping. He stated that this moment is a source of pride for every citizen of Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif commended Field Marshal Asim Munir for his efforts and acknowledged the support of the Pakistani people during challenging times. He assured that this agreement will contribute to global economic stability.
