Democrats criticize Trump’s Iran peace deal

Washington (Lord Media): U.S. Democrat leaders have expressed strong skepticism and criticism over President Donald Trump’s anticipated peace agreement with Iran. Democrat Senator Adam Schiff stated on social media that Trump’s previous declarations of ending wars have been heard before, but promises were broken and the American public suffered.

Congressman Seth Moulton described the agreement as a ‘surrender document,’ asserting that it represents Trump’s capitulation to Iran’s Supreme Leader. He highlighted that 100 billion U.S. dollars of taxpayer money has been spent and 14 Americans have died, while a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is underway.

President Trump announced that the agreement between the U.S. and Iran will be signed on Sunday, and the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened immediately thereafter. Trump claimed that Iran no longer desires to acquire nuclear weapons.
