Islamabad (Lord Media): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The two leaders discussed the regional situation and ongoing reconciliation between the United States and Iran.
According to the Foreign Office, both ministers termed the progress between the US and Iran as encouraging and expressed hope that this positive development could lay the foundation for lasting peace and stability in the region.
Ishaq Dar and Hakan Fidan agreed to maintain close contact on regional issues and continue consultations on future developments.
