Lakki Marwat (Lord Media): Local residents in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district of Lakki Marwat thwarted a suicide attack in the Khairukhail Pakka area mosque. On June 12, during Friday prayers, an outsider attempted to approach the mosque but was promptly neutralized by locals.
However, an explosion occurred due to explosives planted on a motorcycle, resulting in the martyrdom of a 5-year-old girl and injuries to five others, including children. The injured were immediately transported to a hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation. The incident has sparked intense anger among the people of Lakki Marwat against the assailants.
