Dubai (Lord Media): The United Arab Emirates has denied reports claiming it released 3 billion U.S. dollars from Iran’s frozen funds. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that no funds have been transferred to Iran.
International media had reported that the UAE agreed to release Iran’s frozen funds. However, the UAE has dismissed these reports as baseless.
Reuters had claimed that the UAE agreed to release 10 billion U.S. dollars of Iran’s frozen funds, with 3 billion U.S. dollars already provided.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that these allegations are unfounded and no frozen funds have been released or transferred to Iran.
The statement urged media outlets to rely only on official and verified sources and to avoid spreading unverified information.
