Islamabad (Lord Media): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the crucial role of the Federal Constabulary in maintaining peace and combating terrorism nationwide. During his visit to the Federal Constabulary Training Center in Shabqadar, he reviewed the force’s operational readiness and professional training.
The minister inspected training activities of the Special Protection Wing and Anti-Riot Wing, commending the high standards of modern training provided to personnel. He stated that the Special Protection Wing is being developed into a modern, organized force akin to those in developed countries to offer international-standard security to foreign guests.
Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that personnel training is being conducted by instructors from abroad, enhancing educational capabilities and teaching international languages. He stressed the importance of making the Federal Constabulary an active force.
The minister instructed personnel to focus on physical fitness, modern weapons training, and driving skills. He also directed the procurement of anti-riot equipment, provision of facilities in barracks, and the construction of a gym and swimming pool at the center.
