30 crore rupees looted from Karachi cash van

Karachi (Lord Media): In Karachi’s Federal B Area, 30 crore rupees were looted from a security company’s cash van. Police have indicated that the heist was premeditated, with suspicions arising about the role of the security company’s chief crew, Wajid.

SSP Central Dr. Imran Khan reported that the cash van was en route from Tariq Road to a bank when the crew stopped for tea, allowing four suspects to seize control of the van. The suspects drove the van to Altaf Pakwan Street, transferred the money to another vehicle, and fled the scene.

Investigations revealed that the suspects had parked a vehicle in a nearby street before the heist. According to police officials, Wajid took the cash cabin keys from the guards, granting the suspects access to the money, and then absconded himself.

SSP Central inspected the crime scene, and police have begun collecting evidence. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed, and special teams have been formed to identify and apprehend the suspects.

Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjhar has taken notice of the incident, requesting a report from SSP Central and directing that the suspects be swiftly arrested and brought to justice.
