Gilgit (Lord Media): A significant consultative meeting took place between the delegations of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regarding government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan. The meeting involved detailed discussions on potential formulas for government formation and political cooperation between the two parties.
The PPP delegation included Nayyar Bukhari, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sharjeel Memon, and Nasir Shah, while the PML-N was represented by Amir Muqam and Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman. Both parties decided to present their government formation proposals to their central leadership.
The PPP stated that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have made them the largest party, and decisions on government formation will be made according to democratic principles and public interest. National and domestic issues were also discussed during the meeting.
