Karachi (Lord Media): The State Bank has released data for foreign remittances for May 2026, showing a 20.2% increase compared to the previous month. Compared to the same period last year, remittances have risen by 15.4%.
Economic experts have stated that the record remittances will have a positive impact on the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the record remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis in May 2026. He stated that the 20.2% monthly increase in remittances is encouraging, and the trust and positive contribution of overseas Pakistanis to the national economy is a valuable asset.
