Iranian officials have strongly rejected circulating reports regarding the health condition of senior political figure Mojtaba Khamenei, stating that he is in complete good health and actively performing his responsibilities.
According to Iranian media, Mohsen Qomi, Deputy for International Affairs at the Office of the Supreme Leader, said Mojtaba Khamenei remains fully engaged in decision-making processes and state-related duties.
He described the reports circulating on social media and certain outlets as “baseless rumours” aimed at creating confusion and serving political agendas against Iran.
Qomi emphasized that such claims are part of what he termed information warfare, intended to provoke uncertainty and mislead public opinion about Iran’s leadership structure.
He further reiterated that the country’s administrative and decision-making systems continue to function normally, with no disruption in leadership affairs.
Officials in Tehran have repeatedly urged caution over unverified reports, stressing that misinformation campaigns are increasingly being used to influence perceptions about Iran’s internal stability.
