China successfully launched two new test satellites, Shiyan-30 03 and Shiyan-30 04, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan on Friday, according to a statement by China’s China National Space Administration.
The satellites were carried into space aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket at 6:33 a.m. Beijing Time and successfully entered their preset orbits.
The Shiyan-30 satellites will primarily be used for experimental verification of Earth observation technologies, the agency said, contributing to China’s ongoing space research and technological development programs.
This launch marked the 632nd flight mission of the Long March series of carrier rockets, highlighting China’s continued progress in satellite deployment and space exploration.
