The Balochistan government has decided to pursue Interpol Red Notices and initiate international legal proceedings against the exiled heads and senior commanders of banned terrorist organisations, along with more than 300 wanted terrorist operatives.
The decision was taken during an extraordinary high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where officials briefed the leadership on the scope of evidence collected against the groups and their foreign-based leadership.
According to the briefing, authorities have compiled extensive documentation, including call recordings, links with local facilitators, financial trails, and other verified evidence connecting the terrorists abroad with their networks operating inside Pakistan.
The meeting resolved that cases would be formally taken to international courts, ensuring that action is pursued “from local facilitators to the exiled masterminds” in a decisive manner. The government aims to accelerate prosecution of cases registered against leaders and commanders of banned outfits, including BLA, BRA, BLF, UBA, BRG, and Lashkar-e-Balochistan, while ensuring that all evidence meets global legal standards.
Officials said the move marks a significant escalation in efforts to dismantle the organisational structure of terrorist groups using foreign soil to coordinate violence inside Balochistan.
