ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): The government has announced the launch of Vision Pakistan 2047 on August 12, aiming to achieve a trillion-dollar economy. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will formally inaugurate the program. This vision will introduce long-term plans for economic development and stable growth.
According to sources, Vision Pakistan 2047 will include special programs to provide opportunities for economic development, prosperity, and innovation to the younger generation. The government has decided to align the Ministry of Planning’s Uraan Pakistan Plan with this vision. The Prime Minister’s Office has requested targets from all ministries for this vision.
Under Vision Pakistan 2047, all ministries are directed to provide strategic goals, reforms, and a long-term development agenda. The plan will also encompass targets related to national development, economic transformation, human capital development, and technology.
Goals for climate sustainability and governance reforms are also instructed to be included in Vision Pakistan 2047.
