Pakistan, Bangladesh agree to strengthen ties

ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to further strengthen their bilateral relations. In Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Bangladesh’s Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare, Dr. AZM Zahid Hussain. The two leaders discussed cooperation in trade, education, and social welfare sectors.

The Bangladeshi minister was in Pakistan to attend the OIC Ministerial Conference. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated Bangladesh’s participation in the conference and reiterated the commitment to enhance cooperation for women’s empowerment through the OIC platform.

Ishaq Dar also referred to his visit to Dhaka last year, expressing the resolve to boost collaboration.
