LAHORE (Lord Media): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has declared the ‘Apna Rozgar Program’ for women as her dream. Speaking at the OIC Women’s Conference in the federal capital, she stated that Pakistan is a peaceful country and a land of hospitable people. She further expressed that attending the conference is an honor for her and emphasized that Islam has clear directives regarding women’s rights.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted that citizens are benefiting from the ‘Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar’ scheme, and the ‘Apna Rozgar Program’ is a significant dream aimed at economically empowering women. She added that the government is ensuring the provision of IT skills to align women with modern demands.
She paid tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, recognizing her as the first female Prime Minister of the Muslim Ummah and lauded her services.
