DOHA (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif met with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha to express condolences over the passing of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. They assured Qatar of Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity during this time of grief.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the visionary leadership and statesmanship of the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. He noted that under the late Emir’s leadership, Qatar transformed into a modern and prosperous state, and his contributions to regional peace and stability will be remembered.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged the late Emir’s warmth, affection, and longstanding love for Pakistan. He prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace and strength for the royal family and the Qatari people to bear this loss.
Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani thanked the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation for visiting Doha to offer their condolences, stating that this gesture reflects the deep fraternal ties between the two brotherly nations and their people.
