SOUTHAMPTON (Lord Media): England captain Jos Buttler scored a remarkable century in the fifth T20 International against India, surpassing Virat Kohli’s record. Buttler smashed 131 runs off 64 balls, hitting 12 fours and 8 sixes.
Thanks to this memorable innings, Buttler’s total T20 International career runs have reached 4212, placing him third on the list of highest run-scorers.
He broke the record of India’s former captain Virat Kohli, who had scored 4188 runs in 125 T20 matches.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam leads the list with 4596 runs, followed by India’s Rohit Sharma with 4231 runs.
