ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Pakistan’s national Test cricket team has departed from Islamabad International Airport for their tour of the West Indies. The team will travel via Doha and London to reach the Caribbean.
Led by Babar Azam, the team will play matches at Port of Spain and Tarouba in Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to departure, the Pakistan squad engaged in three days of intensive training at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and played a two-day scenario-based match.
The Pakistan Test team is scheduled to play a four-day practice match in the West Indies from July 18 to 21. The ICC World Test Championship matches between Pakistan and the West Indies are set for July 25 to August 10 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba and Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.
