England thrash India by 125 runs to seal series lead

BRISTOL (Lord Media): England claimed a decisive 125-run victory over India in the fourth T20 match, securing a 3-0 lead in the five-match series. India won the toss and opted to bat first, but their batters struggled against England’s bowlers.

England, batting first, posted a total of 201 for 7. In response, India managed to score only 158 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer top-scored for India with 80 runs off 49 balls, while Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue each took two wickets for England.

Chasing a target of 159, England reached the total with ease, losing just one wicket in the 14th over. Phil Salt scored 59 runs, and Harry Brook contributed 79 runs. It is noteworthy that India also faced defeat in the third T20 match.
