KARACHI (Lord Media): Flour prices in Karachi have been increased, as per a new notification issued. The notification indicates that all flour rates have been raised compared to those on May 12. The wholesale price of regular flour has been increased from 110 rupees to 122 rupees per kilogram.
According to the notification, the retail price of regular flour has risen from 113 rupees to 125 rupees per kilogram, while the wholesale price of fine flour has been adjusted from 118 rupees to 132 rupees per kilogram.
Similarly, the retail price of fine flour has gone up from 121 rupees to 135 rupees per kilogram, while the retail price of mill flour remains unchanged at 145 rupees per kilogram.
The Commissioner of Karachi has instructed all shopkeepers to prominently display the official price list and warned of strict legal action for violating government pricing regulations.
