NEW DELHI (Lord Media): Financial and cyber fraud activities by Indian companies are on the rise globally, with a major visa fraud scandal recently emerging in the United States. The involvement of Indian companies in the H-1B visa fraud has embarrassed the Modi government in the US.
According to the Indian Express, investigations into alleged fraud in the H-1B and PERM visa programs are underway, with US officials indicating that Indian IT company Cognizant is among those implicated.
The investigations are being conducted by a task force led by US Vice President JD Vance, which has uncovered schemes exploiting foreign workers through fake visa applications and harming American workers. US Department of Labor Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito stated that subpoenas have been issued to the companies involved, and several cases are under scrutiny.
These investigations have exposed India’s systematic deceit, financial corruption, and cybercrime operations on a global scale.
