Moscow (Lord Media): The Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed that its air defense systems shot down 415 Ukrainian drones overnight. During these attacks, one civilian was killed and several others injured in the Saratov region. Additionally, two tankers were affected in the Taganrog Bay.
According to the Ministry of Defense, between 8 PM on July 7 and 8 AM on July 8, drones were targeted in the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Vologda, Voronezh, Vladimir, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tula, Moscow, Krasnodar, Tatarstan, as well as in the Republic of Crimea, the Sea of Azov, and the Black Sea.
Rostov region’s Governor Yuri Slusar reported that approximately 70 drones were destroyed in Novoshakhtinsk, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, and 11 districts of the region. Drones were also downed in the Ulyanovsk and Oryol regions.
Governor Alexander Gusev of the Voronezh region stated that 12 Ukrainian drones were shot down in the southwestern part of the region. In the Saratov region, one civilian was killed and several were injured in the attacks.
In the Rostov region, two tankers in the Taganrog Bay were affected by drone attacks, but no oil spill occurred. In the Tatarstan region’s Tokayevsky district, two people were injured, and industrial facilities suffered damage.
In the Voronezh region, a Ukrainian drone attack ignited a fire at an infrastructure facility, with emergency teams working to manage the situation.
