Rawalpindi (Lord Media): The Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that the insurgency in India has no connection with Balochistan. During a press conference, he revealed that three major terrorist incidents occurred in Balochistan over the past four days, where terrorists linked to the insurgency targeted innocent civilians.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry highlighted that the enemies of Pakistan’s prosperity are involved in these terrorist activities, and Afghan territory is being used for anti-Pakistan operations. He further mentioned that these operations are backed by the Afghan Taliban regime.
The DG ISPR reported that terrorist incidents took place at Mangi Dam and Quetta Pumping Station. However, the brave people and police officers of Balochistan courageously confronted the terrorists. In Ziarat, at least 15 terrorists were killed, and the terrorists fled, leaving behind their dead bodies.
He stated that the terrorists claim to be fighting for Balochistan and Islam, although all the police officers martyred in Ziarat were local and Muslim. Lieutenant General Chaudhry added that 18 police officers embraced martyrdom, while two operations conducted today resulted in the death of 14 more terrorists.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry reported that a total of 54 terrorists have been killed in law enforcement operations over the past few days, and actions will continue until the complete elimination of terrorist facilitators.
