PML-N launches AJK election campaign focusing on refugee seats

Jhelum (Lord Media): The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced a vigorous election campaign for the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections, focusing on refugee seats. A meeting was held at the ancestral residence of Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, in Badlot, attended by senior parliamentarian Tahira Aurangzeb, PML-N Rawalpindi District President Malik Abrar, former Rawalpindi Mayor Sardar Naseem Khan, and central leaders from Jhelum.

Candidates for AJK Assembly constituencies, Raja Muhammad Siddique from Constituency 39 Jammu 6 and Shaukat Ali Shah from Constituency LA 42 Valley 3, also participated in the meeting. Former Punjab Assembly members Mehr Fayaz, Chaudhry Saeed, and other leaders were present as well.

The meeting deliberated on the election campaign strategy in District Jhelum and reviewed the implementation of previous decisions. Discussions were held to enhance the effectiveness of electoral responsibilities across the district’s four tehsils.

Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani stated that the election campaign will be conducted vigorously under the directives of party president Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Other leaders assured their commitment to strengthening the PML-N’s Kashmir cause.
