Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed’s sacrifice is a testament to Pakistan’s defense and his bravery exemplifies the highest traditions of loyalty to the motherland. He emphasized that the defense of the homeland is a sacred duty and the sacrifices of martyrs guarantee our sovereignty.
According to ISPR, during the Kargil War in 1999, Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed displayed extraordinary courage, fiercely confronting the enemy and achieving martyrdom. His sacrifice remains a symbol of courage and patriotism for the Pakistani nation.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and other senior military officials also paid tribute to Captain Colonel Sher Khan Shaheed’s invaluable services, declaring his sacrifice a bright chapter in national history.
