Islamabad (Lord Media): President Asif Ali Zardari has extended heartfelt congratulations to U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of the United States completing 250 years of independence. In a statement from the Presidency, President Zardari praised the American people’s innovation, freedom, democracy, and equal opportunities. He also invited President Trump to visit Pakistan.
President Zardari remarked that the achievements of the American people have played a significant role in global development. He described the relationship between Pakistan and the United States as being based on mutual respect and shared interests, highlighting the contributions of the American Pakistani community to bilateral ties.
The President stated that Pakistan-U.S. relations are progressing positively and emphasized the importance of cooperation in energy, trade, defense, and other sectors.
President Zardari noted that a strong Pakistan-U.S. partnership plays a crucial role in regional peace. He appreciated President Trump’s mediation last year, which helped in the ceasefire between two nuclear states.
He also acknowledged the U.S. trust in Pakistan’s role in negotiations with Iran, stating that sustainable solutions are only possible through dialogue and diplomacy.
