Washington (Lord Media): On the occasion of the United States’ 250th Independence Day, Pakistan’s Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh extended heartfelt congratulations to the American people. He stated that the history of the United States in terms of freedom and democracy is a testament to resilience, innovation, and determination, values upon which Pakistan was also founded.
Ambassador Sheikh further remarked that Pakistan-U.S. relations have withstood various tests over the past eight decades and have proven fruitful on the global stage. He noted that recent interactions between the leadership of both countries are promising for a lasting partnership.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh emphasized the need to enhance cooperation in minerals, energy, IT, and agriculture. He also commended the role of the Pakistani community in the U.S., highlighting their contribution as a bridge between the two nations.
On this occasion, the ambassador presented a gift from the Pakistani community to the American people—a rendition of the U.S. national anthem on traditional Pakistani instruments. He expressed that this gift reflects the bright future of Pakistan-U.S. relations.
