Islamabad (Lord Media): In a significant development in the 190 million pounds case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, the Islamabad High Court has scheduled their appeals for a hearing on June 29.
The Registrar of the Islamabad High Court has released next week’s cause list, indicating that the appeals will be heard by a bench comprising Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif.
It is noteworthy that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have also filed contempt of court petitions alongside their appeals. The court had directed the lawyers to submit signed power of attorney documents within seven days.
Progress on the contempt of court petitions is also expected during the June 29 hearing, along with the appeals.
