Islamabad (Lord Media): All demands related to the development and welfare of Azad Kashmir have been approved, stated Rana Sanaullah during his address in the National Assembly. He emphasized that Kashmir is Pakistan’s lifeline, maintaining an unbreakable bond between Pakistan and the Kashmiris.
Rana Sanaullah revealed that last year, the banned Action Committee presented 38 demands, including a provision of 10 billion rupees for improving the electricity system. He mentioned that negotiations were held with the committee in Muzaffarabad.
He further stated that the electricity rate in Azad Kashmir is three and a half rupees per unit, and a subsidy is being provided on wheat. A six-member committee was formed to address the issue of refugee seats, tasked with presenting recommendations to the Azad Kashmir government.
Rana Sanaullah noted that the banned Action Committee refused to participate in the All Parties Conference on the refugee seats issue and chose to pursue their demands through mob culture despite various options.
