Defence Minister urges Afghan neighbours to recall hospitality

Islamabad (Lord Media): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, speaking to the media in Parliament, urged Afghan neighbours to remember Pakistan’s 50 years of hospitality. He stated that Pakistan never forgets its acts of kindness. He termed Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to Pakistan as an honour and highlighted Pakistan’s significant role in the Iran-U.S. agreement.

Khawaja Asif further said that the love and unity between Pakistan and Iran are growing, as evidenced by the Iranian President’s visit. He mentioned that war has been halted and peace established in the region, for which the entire nation and the Muslim Ummah are grateful to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Labeling Afghanistan as a source of terrorism, Khawaja Asif remarked that several countries, including the U.S., have used Pakistan and then abandoned it. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Field Marshal, Pakistan’s issues will be resolved.

Khawaja Asif emphasized the importance of the Iranian President’s visit and asserted that Pakistan will respond strongly to India’s aggression. He accused India of conspiring with Afghanistan and stated that Pakistan aims to maintain peace on its western border.
