Gulf states wary of US-Iran aid talks

Dubai (Lord Media): Gulf countries are expressing concern over ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran, specifically regarding the proposed 300 billion U.S. dollars aid to Iran. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is visiting the Gulf nations to reassure them about the agreement.

The Gulf states fear that the deal could enhance Iran’s military capabilities, especially since there is no mention of Iran’s missile program.

According to initial documents of the Iran-U.S. agreement, Washington is committed to providing 300 billion U.S. dollars to revive Iran’s economy.

Gulf countries are apprehensive about the potential increase in Iran’s military strength, particularly in regions where U.S. military bases are located.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that a mechanism is being developed to unfreeze Iran’s assets in a way that prevents their use for terrorism.

Meanwhile, Iran insists on the right to use its assets as it sees fit.
