Beirut (Lord Media): Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance group, has warned Israel of a strong response if the ceasefire agreement is violated. Mahmoud Qomati, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s political council, stated that any aggressive action or breach by Israel would be met with a robust reaction from Hezbollah.
Qomati emphasized that Hezbollah will not revert to past situations where the Israeli military frequently attacked Lebanon while Hezbollah exercised restraint in respect of the ceasefire. He stressed that Hezbollah is fully alert and prepared to counter any potential violations.
According to Qomati, the organization’s fighters remain on high alert, closely monitoring Israeli actions. He affirmed that Lebanon’s sovereignty and security are non-negotiable and warned that any Israeli breach of the ceasefire would face a similar response.
This statement comes amid ongoing efforts in recent weeks to maintain the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel.
