Cyberattack exposes Tata Electronics secrets

New Delhi (Lord Media): Tata Electronics, a major Indian company, has confirmed a cyberattack that resulted in the theft of critical secrets related to iPhone and Tesla. The hacker group ‘World Leaks’ has leaked over 200,000 confidential files on the dark web. These companies source components from Tata.

Tata Electronics reported that upon detecting the cyberattack, immediate measures were taken, ensuring that business operations were not affected. However, the hackers have demanded a ransom for the return of the data, on which the company has not commented.

Experts indicate that the stolen files include designs of Apple and Tesla circuit boards, employee emails, and other sensitive information. Apple has initiated an investigation into the breach.

This attack is a significant setback for Apple, as Tata Electronics is emerging as a key partner outside China. The hackers claim that the leaked data belongs to Tata Electronics.
